“I think Donald Trump is going to have the hardest time beating Hillary of all the candidates that ran for president”, he said.

“I do think he’ll be better than Hillary Clinton, I don’t think it’s a great set of choices”, Jindal said. Though Jindal spent the majority of his failed campaign for the Republican nomination past year attacking Trump, as the Times-Picayune reported, he has consistently said he will vote in the general election for whichever candidate secures the party’s nomination.

Jindal did have some words of praise for Trump, saying that although he doesn’t believe Trump is truly a conservative, he clearly is speaking to voters.

So why does Donald Trump presumably get a free pass for this tweet? “I’m just trying to ask questions, sir, and figure out your support for Donald Trump and what you find in him that makes you so enthusiastic about him …” “You know, I’m exhausted of this party stuff, that we’re going to do what’s right for this party or we’re going to do what’s right for that party”.

But Jindal told CNN’s Brooke Baldwin on Tuesday that Trump is likely to win IN and the party will have to grin and bear it.

“Coach, Donald Trump also no stranger to controversy”.

“I think Donald Trump has tapped into middle class anxieties”. Given the way Trump is running his campaign – it’s possible.

Former Hoosiers basketball Coach Bobby Knight said Donald Trump could be as good a president as Harry Truman in that he wouldn't be afraid'to drop the bomb like Truman did in World War II
