Detroit police are investigating the discovery of two bodies in the basement of a house set on fire on the city’s east side.
Authorities say the person last seen with Savannah, a 33-year-old Detroit man, is the boyfriend of the mother. An AMBER Alert was issued early Saturday morning after family members reported them missing on Friday night.
According to WOOD-TV, Savannah’s mother, Heidi Walker, 39, is also missing. Police describe Hightower as a black male, five feet nine inches tall, weighing about 250 pounds. She was last seen on Tuesday as well.
He may be traveling in a black 2004 Ford Explorer with a MI license plate of DFJ 5377. They say he should be considered armed and unsafe.
If you have seen the vehicle, suspect or child involved call 911.
