Rotherham MP Sarah Champion, who represents two of the grieving families, tweeted: “One of the missing #Didcot men has been found but not yet identified”.
Thames Valley Police has confirmed that a body was located today.
A BODY has been found in the rubble of the collapsed Didcot Power Station.
The force originally said the Guard of Honour ceremony would take place at 10pm last night but the ceremony finally happened at 2.30am, six months and eight days after the disaster. “Pls send prayers to the Shaw, Cresswell & Huxtable families xxx”.
Ken Cresswell, Christopher Huxtable and John Shaw have been missing since the old boiler house partially collapsed just more than six months ago.
When Didcot collapsed in February, search efforts were made to find the three missing Coleman & Co employees, but they had to be halted in May for two months when contractors reached a 50m (164ft) exclusion zone, beyond which it was considered too risky to continue.
That was brought down in a controlled explosion in July, and the recovery efforts resumed a day later.
“The contractors have paused the removal of debris so that specialists from Thames Valley Police and Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue and the South Central Ambulance Service Hazardous Area Recovery Team (HART), can enter the site”.

The families of three men missing since the disaster in February have been informed of the discovery on Wednesday, Thames Valley Police said.
