His body was found on Tuesday between Sumner and Randolph avenues.
Authorities are investigating after a body was found on a beach in southern New Jersey. The family will receive visitors from 9 a.m.to noon, and a memorial service will begin immediately after. It was something he looked forward to.
His wife, Nancy Althoff, confirmed his death in a message on Radio’s Facebook page.
“You just knew he loved Clayton, the schools and the kids”, Lindenmuth said.
“We put our flags at half mast in honor of Mayor Radio and I believe a couple municipalities in Gloucester County also are doing the same thing”, Bianco told KYW Newsradio.
Lt. Brian Polite, a state police spokesman, said late Wednesday afternoon, October 28, that the death remains under investigation. He was employed as a branch manager for Sun National Bank and served on the Clayton Public Schools Board of Education.
Salvatore expects more voters than usual could turn out to the polls in Clayton to vote for Radio as a final way to pay respects to a man Clayton School District Superintendent David Lindenmuth called “very active and very visible” in the schools.
In addition to his civic and professional live, Radio liked to spend time with his grandchildren.
“You can imagine how challenging that would be”, Frank Radio said.
