Detectives believe that Andrade had killed Hutchinson and gone on the run before committing suicide at the motel in Tewksbury.

Police have said Andrade had been dating Hutchinson’s daughter, had broken it off, but that he and the mother had remained roommates.

Hutchinson and Andrade were both reported missing in late September.

Police believe that Andrade had been driving Hutchinson’s 2005 BMW, which was found last week in a neighboring New Hampshire town.

Police discovered the body on Sunday evening after searching the building where Hutchinson and Andrade lived. He also spent time with relatives in Boston.

Hutchinson’s 1992 Buick Century was found on Wyoming Avenue just a few blocks from her home a few days after her disappearance. It appeared he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Manchester police.

He added that Andrade had left no clue to where he had hidden the body of his roommate. After removing the panel, they found a body they believe to be Hutchinson’s.

“It is possible she was killed somewhere else and hidden in the apartment, but it is more likely she was killed in the apartment”, Senior Assistant Attorney General Jeffery Strelzin said.

Officers launched a desperate appeal for her whereabouts but yesterday her body was discovered hidden at the Manchester apartment she shared with Andrade
