On Wednesday, Thames Valley Police said they believed another body had been discovered.

Last week, the body of Christopher Huxtable, 34, of Swansea, was recovered.

The boiler house of Didcot A power station in Oxfordshire collapsed unexpectedly on 23rd February 2016 during preparations for a controlled demolition by Coleman & Company.

Contractors working at the site have “paused” the removal of debris so that emergency service specialists can enter.

Thames Valley Police said the families of Mr Cresswell and Mr Shaw had been informed and were being supported by specially trained officers.

The body of Michael Collings was recovered from the site on the day.

Families of the three men whose bodies were buried under the rubble for six months severely criticised police and the recovery teams for taking so long to start the mission of rescuing the bodies.

The building was due for demolition when it partially collapsed.

The iron and steel structure was being prepared for demolition before it crumbled and was previously too unstable to be approached.

The safe recovery of the body will take place and the Disaster Victim Identification process will start according to the police.
