Bogut wins Antipodean battle as Warriors beat Thunder
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (30) reacts after scoring against the Oklahoma City Thunder during the second quarter in game five of the Western conference finals of the NBA Playoffs at Oracle Arena.

Andrew Bogut tallied 15 points and 14 rebounds, and Draymond Green had an 11-point, 13-rebound double-double performance for the Warriors.
A reporter asked the pair if they thought Curry’s defense was underrated, causing Westbrook to straight up laugh into the microphone. “We had that good balance tonight”. He scored on alley-oops and tip-ins.
The Warriors shot 10 more free throws than the Thunder in Game 5.
CITY (AP) – The Thunder won’t say they have to win Game 6 against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday to win the Western Conference finals. In order for the Phils to keep the dream alive for most of the season, they will have to start winning at least two out of every three games, like they were at the beginning of this season.
“He rebounded, he scored, he was aggressive”. “We’re supposed to win at home”, Curry said. “Obviously it’s a different team, different challenge, but same formula”.
Kerr routinely rotates nine or 10 players, even in big games. “He’s got to be smarter with his fouls”. We know what it takes to do it. So we’ve got to make sure that we use that experience.
“Even after that tough loss we took last game, Draymond set the tone after the game like, look, we’ve accomplished a lot this year, faced some adversity, believe it or not even with a 73-9 season”, guard Klay Thompson said.
Despite all that, Steph Curry showed everyone that was against his Golden State crew, why exactly he’s the unanimous league MVP.
What’s important about these shots is that Curry had no trouble getting to the rim each time. Yep, I will be bringing the ear plugs to the game Saturday night. He’s yet to find his stroke from three-point range this series, missing 12 of his 14 attempts. “It was good to be out there for big minutes”.
“Everybody on this team has been an underdog”, Green said before Game 5.
“Today he was smart. He didn’t pick up any silly fouls, and he dominated the game at both ends”, Green said.
Said Curry: “There’s no real sense of accomplishment because we know what we still have to do going forward”.
Because Bogut stayed on the floor, the Warriors were not forced to play their smaller “Death Lineup”.
What an excellent opportunity for the playoff-hungry Oklahoma City Thunder; having the chance to knockout the Warriors in front of a Thunderous crowd.
“The game of our lives”, Curry called it on a post-game interview on Thursday night. Bogut was not tagged with his first one until 1:33 remained in the first half.

“Look at Billy, he’s not playing his bench much at all right now”, Kerr said Friday after the Warriors had landed here. Westbrook, especially, was taken off his game; he was was unable to penetrate into the paint with his fearless drives, and instead took his shots from the outside-the Warriors can live with that.
