But her mother, Esther Yakubu, reacted angrily at the inability of the Nigerian government to get the girls back.

The kidnapping of the schoolgirls sparked worldwide outrage and put pressure on the Nigerian government to do everything it can to secure their release. It includes words shared by one girl who claims that some of her kidnapped classmates were killed in the aerial airstrike by the Nigerian military. “It is extremely hard and rare to hit innocent people during airstrikes because the operation is done through precision attacks on identified and registered targets and locations, ” a spokesman, Brigadier General Rabe Abubakar, said in a statement.

Nigeria’s army has declared three people, including a journalist, wanted for allegedly concealing information on more than 200 girls abducted from their school in Chibok in April 2014, a spokesman said on Monday. Some 218 remain missing in the mass kidnapping that shocked the world and even brought USA first lady Michelle Obama to participate in the #Bring Back Our Girls social media campaign, promising her husband would do all in his power to help liberate them.

“They should immediately release our brethren in their custody”, the man said, warning that if the prisoners were not released the government would never be able to rescue the girls.

“There are a number of the girls, about 40 of them, that have been married”, said the man in the 11-minute video.

A veiled girl could be seen holding a baby.

Since it started staging major attacks seven years ago, Boko Haram has killed more than 20,000 people and forced 2.2 million from their homes in Nigeria and neighboring countries.

According to Reuters, the end of the video showed bodies on the ground.

“He goes on to express his happiness that his daughter is still alive. “[I feel] very happy because I didn’t know I would ever see her again. Ezekwesili made the comment after video of terrorist group, which has captured school students: “We aren’t going to allow the government to leave it without any actions”.

“We don’t want to do anything with these girls”.

“Finally, the Army is aware that I am not in Nigeria presently”, said the journalists whose whereabouts could not be ascertained.

On the planned match by the BringBakcOurGirls to Aso Rock presidential villa, the minister said the government appreciated the group’s commitment to the return of these girls but “there are few things we need to do behind the scene”.

The video was posted on social media by the group Boko Haram.

The advocacy group whose hashtag “bring back our girls” became a movement all over the world following the abduction of the 218 Chibok schools in 2014, say the Nigerian government so far lacks a coherent response to the matter.
