This is not the first time that Khan has had problems with immigration officials at American airports.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has shared his frustration at being stopped by immigration officers “every damn time” he visits the US. “The brighter side is, while waiting caught some really nice Pokemons”, the actor tweeted, venting his frustration, with a smilie.

Soon after the news spread, U.S. Ambassador to India Rich Verma apologied to the Bollywood big cheese for his harassment.

Then SRK responded, “No trouble sir, respect the protocol & not expecting to be above it”. Appreciate ur graciousness, its just inconvenient. “Thx for ur concern”, said Khan.

He was previously held for 90 minutes in 2012 at the White Plains airport in NY and for two hours in 2009 at Newark airport.

He earlier told students at Yale University: “Whenever I start feeling arrogant about myself, I always take a trip to America. The immigration guys kicked the star out of stardom”.

The latest incident has caused uproar given Khan has faced similar incidents in the past when traveling to the U.S.

The actor immediately took to his Twitter account to share something about the incident.

This is not the first time that Shah Rukh, one of Hindi film industry’s most successful stars, was detained at a USA airport.

Another user posted, “US police detained #ShahRukhKhan at airport and Indian police can’t even detain an actor on Footpath”. “Security is security but this is very unfortunate and embarrassing”, Ms. Banerjee tweeted. “The US views every Muslim as a terrorist”, the Sena said.

It’s not clear why Shah was detained or for how long.

“Don Ka Intezaar To 11 Mulko Ki Police Kar Rahi Hai”.

Khan is famous Hindi movie celebrity in India and has acted in dozens of films.

Many compared it with the “Dilwale” star’s intolerance statement which he made previous year. “There in US, Mr Khan?”, wrote a Twitter user. One has to see it in a larger context, it’s a sign of the times.
