By Sunday morning, most streets that were closed around Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood has reopened, with the exception of West 23 between Fifth and Eighth Avenues, causing minor commuting delays Monday morning.
There were no reports of injuries to civilians or police.

Amtrak’s Acela and Northeast Regional trains were running on a modified schedule this morning.
New Jersey Transit says Northeast Corridor and North Jersey Coast Line trains began rolling at 5:30am Monday. “No Amtrak trains are operating on the Northeast Corridor between NY and Trenton, NJ for the time being.” .

New York’s emergency management department says that New Jersey-bound Amtrak trains are being held at New York Penn Station. The search was connected to the ongoing terror investigation, a law enforcement source said. Bomb techs from the FBI, Union County, & the New Jersey State Police have arrived on the scene and are now rendering the area safe. A forensic examination of the device and its components will be conducted at the FBI Laboratory at Quantico, Virginia.
