“Per state law, bomb threats to schools are not merely charged as a general threat to commit a crime or as annoying and harassing phone calls”.

Police from Arlington and Cambridge will sweep the school once the building is emptied, Ryan said.

Weymouth received threats at around 8:15 a.m.to Weymouth High School, Abigail Adams Middle School, and Maria Weston Chapman Middle School, Superintendent Kenneth Salim said.

“Students are safe in place and instruction is continuing as law enforcement conducts a thorough search of the building and grounds”, the WCPS said.

Salisbury Middle School in Salisbury also received a bomb threat Tuesday morning, according to the Wicomico County Public Schools.

DE schools were not exempt from these threats.

“A normal school day was resumed by 9.30am”. Classes have since resumed and officials will continue to investigate the source of the call, Rogers said. We are very proud of the speed and effectiveness with which the school staff carried out the evacuation.

Arlington High School and Groton Middle School were evacuated Tuesday after separate threats, FOX25 reported. We understand that we were not the only school who received a call of this nature. They did not find any evidence that lends validity to the threat, Superintendent Timothy Piwowar said.

Arlington Catholic High School received a threat last week, but he said Tuesday that it was not a robocall that triggered the alert there.
