Boomer Esiason has extremely high hopes for the Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings’ chances to repeat as NFC North champs with Shaun Hill are slim. I know he’s been here working hard to try to do that. “That’s just the way I’ve had to approach this league my whole career and in life”. That line is down from where it opened- Minnesota -3. I don’t know if some people have gotten over it yet, but the thing with the Vikings is their window is just now opening. That’s because once the other teams heard about what happened to Bridgewater, they immediately took advantage of Vikings’ desperate situation.

Bridgewater is going to need the paternal instincts over the next year – or more. But that was before the Vikings sent a first-round pick in 2017 and a conditional fourth-round selection in 2018 to the Eagles for Bradford, who nearly certainly will start eventually. How has the team reacted? What really was significant for us was the second year of the contract with Sam.

After seeing Las Vegas odds dip to a low and analysts changing their postseason predictions, the acquisition of quarterback Sam Bradford has made some real noise around the National Football League.

Murray is playing for his third team in three seasons.

“But I thought, from the outside looking in, it was a good move”, Favre said. “That was a family reunion like probably when I was like 6 or 7”, he said. “They wouldn’t give up a (No.) 1 and a (No.) 4 to have him sit very long”.

This also lets Shaun Hill go back to the backup position, as he has nothing on his resume to show that he can be a starting quarterback. Now they just have to hope that the day Teddy Bridgewater isn’t on the training table for his shoes to get untied comes without a hitch.

Hill initially was earmarked as Bridgewater’s replacement. “And I’ve been with Sam before and I get along great with Sam, and he is a good player, so they added a good player to this roster”.

“It doesn’t mean that they don’t have confidence if they do something like that”, Hill said of the Bradford trade.

Again, for recreational purposes only, I would take the Titans +2 and the under. I think their initial plan was to ride it out with Hill, but I think it is kind of enticing, too, where you have this guy and you see him throw, and if he is able to pick up the plays and concepts quickly, there might be a temptation to play him. It was a steep price for the Vikings to pay, but if Bradford can live up to his full potential, the trade will be worth it. “Obviously, just being around here a couple of days, it just helps seeing cutouts, watching film, having meetings, talking to coach about the plays, just going through things, obviously getting some reps in practice”.
