Boorman, longtime coach of Simone Biles, heading to Florida

Boorman, 43, said she will always be there for Biles whether Biles opts to compete again or not.

The post-Olympics heartbreak has hit Simone Biles in the most savage way possible – she’s breaking up with her gymnastics coach of 11 years. “I probably wouldn’t have seen her anyway but overall I’m going to miss her dearly and miss seeing her everyday”.

“It wasn’t a huge thing for me, as far as making a decision to move, if the gymnastics here is great”, Boorman said.

“My vision for what a gymnastics facility should be is reflected in EVO”, Boorman said in a statement.

“Coaching gymnastics is my passion and my life”, Boorman said. Boorman stressed that having a good time is part of her coaching style. The famous gymnast has a following that knows about the soft spot she has for Zac.

While the coach says she is “excited” for her new adventure working at EVO Athletics as Executive Director of Women’s Gymnastics, she will always “be there as a mentor” for Simone! Lawton not only makes sure the kids are having fun, he tries to make sure life is easier on the parents as well. “I think we are going to be seeing people coming from all over the country, not just to visit, but (to) relocate for this”.

“I knew she was going to be an awesome athlete and I knew she had a great spirit. Her family has moved to Florida so that her husband could pursue a job opportunity that he was offered”. “They need to work, but they need a place that’s quiet and has internet access”.
