Border wall appears around Donald Trump’s star on Hollywood walk of fame
Unlike Trump’s much-advertised wall, there is no reason to believe Mexico paid for this tiny replica, which the Associated Press reported was gone by the following morning.

Los Angeles photographer and street artist Plastic Jesus erected the wall on the famous sidewalk Tuesday, the day Trump formally became the Republican nominee following a delegate tally at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
The wall around the GOP presidential candidate’s star, at 6801 Hollywood Blvd.in front of Forever 21 at the Hollywood & Highland Center, attracted quite a few photo-snapping sightseers.
The anonymous artist posted the picture on Instagram and wrote, “Hollywood sight-seers on the famous walk of fame were confronted with an unusual addition to Trump’s Famous Star”.
It’s unclear whether Plastic Jesus implemented a similar plan to force the Hollywood Walk of Fame to pay for his wall.
“It was created by LA-based street artist Plastic Jesus and was inspired by comments made by the Republican Presidential nominee previous year when he outlined plans to build a wall along the US-Mexico border to stop illegal immigrants”. Someone had built a six-inch tall grey concrete wall around it. His website describes his art as being influenced by news and culture. Curious tourists snapped photographs of the Los Angeles structure, while one person called it “the most genius vandalism of the star yet”.
That’s one (and the only one) border we can get behind.
