Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly offered Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund £26 million (R541 million) for one of their star players. The German club had previously refused to part with Mkhitaryan despite the Armenian reaching his past year in contract.
The 27-year-old has turned down a contract extension offer from Dortmund, and according to The Guardian, United are confident that a £30m offer will be accepted in order to open negotiations with Mkhitaryan’s agent, Mino Raiola, with a long-term contract expected to be offered.
Borussia Dortmund, on the other hand, don’t want to sell the Armenia global but the player made it clear that he wants to leave to make a move to Old Trafford. The Red Devils are yet to return with an improved bid but are likely to react once Jose Mourinho takes charge of the first team. Having lost Mats Hummels to Bayern Munich, Thomas Tuchel will want to ensure that he gets the best possible deal for his goalscoring midfielder.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has made a decision to move to Manchester United following a meeting in Monaco with his agent Mino Raiola, it has been claimed.

As the realm is still in recovery mode from a momentous Brexit hangover, a new dawn is born at Old Trafford and United fans will be seeing more new faces other than boss Jose Mourinho next season.
