Boruto: Naruto the Movie’s New Manga One-Shot Previewed

The latest ninja adventure in the franchise will debut in over 80 cities, including New York, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and more. The movie will begin airing on October 10 and features the original Japanese voice work with English subtitles.

The story is titled “The Day Naruto Became a Hokage”. He must once again protect his friends and loved ones from a big bad, leaving his resentful son Boruto yearning for his attention.

The Comic Natalie website posted an excerpt from Naruto Hiden Zai no Sho Official Movie Book, the bonus booklet offered to people who watch Boruto -Naruto the Movie- next month. Check out the action packed trailer below.

A preview for Masahi Kishimoto’s one-shot manga, being given away at screenings of Boruto: Naruto the Movie in Japan, has been released online. The village prepares to host the exams for new shinobi to train, all the while a odd impending danger looms from another dimension. Petrified, Boruto is shielded by Naruto, only to disappear in front of Boruto’s own eyes!

Helmed by Hiroyuki Yamashita and executive produced by Masashi Kishimoto (based on his popular Naruto manga series), Boruto: Naruto the Movie features a screenplay and character design by Kishimoto, with screenplay work by Ukyou Kodachi.
