Boss Antonio Conte reassures Chelsea fans over transfer plans

Conte’s side advanced to the third round of the EFL Cup with a 3-2 victory over Rovers at Stamford Bridge, and it wasn’t all plain sailing for Chelsea.

The Belgium winger opened the scoring in Saturday’s 3-0 home win over Burnley and also played a big part in the second goal, linking up with Diego Costa before he fed Willian who blasted the ball low into the net from a narrow angle.

Willian added the second goal before the break and sub Victor Moses put a deserved gloss on the scoreline a minute from the end.

Conte admits that the club have been working hard behind the scenes to bring in new players and strengthen the squad in key areas before the clock runs out on Wednesday.

“We’ve played three games, we won them all, but I know and I spoke to my players about it, we can improve a lot”, the former Italy coach added. He can improve a lot in the future, but I am impressed with his attitude and his will to improve.

“But I am also pleased with his commitment and his workrate during the training sessions”.

Conte, who came straight to Stamford Bridge after guiding Italy to the quarter-finals of Euro 2016, has totally transformed that atmosphere in west London – and getting the best out of Hazard could be the key to future success.

The Belgium global was also involved as Willian’s strike doubled the advantage before Victor Moses added a late third from fellow substitute Pedro Rodriguez’s cross.

“We know Chelsea are a great team”.

Chelsea have started life well under Conte after a disappointing 10th-placed finish last term, which means they were absent from Thursday’s Champions League draw.

“It’s a pity now there is this global break”. After three wins I wanted to continue to play games but we have to stop.

‘He’s tried to give us confidence, ‘ Hazard told Chelsea TV.

Antonio Conte and his men have looked pretty good this season and they are now two wins from two games and they will look to keep up that flawless Premier League record. “I preferred to put Oscar until the end because the situation can become very unsafe. We are happy to have Eduardo with us”. It s a tough market. “I watched Burnley’s game against Liverpool last week and they were fantastic from a physical and tactical aspect”, the Chelsea manager explained.
