The man filed a police report Friday saying he was punched and knocked to the ground outside a nightclub early Thursday morning, authorities said.

The truth, according to the victim, is that Okafor approached two girls that were hanging with the victim and tried to get their numbers.

“According to the victim, when his female companions refused their advances, a verbal altercation ensued between him and the suspect”, the police report reads.

When he broke free, Okafor allegedly began punching the man with a closed fist and knocking him to the ground, police said. “We pay attention. We walk that line of doing what we need to to help educate and discipline anybody and help them understand if the situation were to present itself again how are you going to handle it”.

In 10 games, Cousins is averaging 27.9 points and 11.2 rebounds per game. Not only has Philly failed to win a game, they’re the worst offensive team in the league.

If that’s the case, the Okafor really needs to have some security or do what Skip Bayless always says. Okafor is reported to be in the lineup. “Something I’m embarrassed about”.

Officer James Kenneally said police responded to reports of a fight outside the nightclub on Wednesday but no one was there by the time officers arrived.

Original reports said the altercation happened when the heckler said something about the 76ers’ winless record.

Being a high-profile player who was considered to be among the top picks from the recent 2015 NBA Draft, Okafor get his share of insults such as “The 76ers [expletive]” as reported via TMZ.

“People were just making fun of how we’ve been losing and I did the dumb thing and reacted to it”, Okafor said. “Until that time, we will have no further comment”, Sixers spokesman Michael Preston said in an email statement to WBZ.
