There is another chance for storms Monday night into Tuesday, though it is too early to determine if severe weather will be possible with them, the Weather Service said.
Widespread severe weather is not expected Saturday, but a strong storm is possible, mainly across northwest OH, the outlook said. Storms are possible starting in the late afternoon and continuing overnight. Strong to severe storms are possible with this storm. West winds 10 to 20 miles per hour with gusts up to 30 miles per hour. The tornado threat is minimal.
Storms are expected to move out of the Kansas City area by Saturday morning, the weather service said.
Flash flooding may become an issue south of I-70, according to the weather service.
The wind will blow from the southwest at 9 to 13 miles per hour.
For Friday, there will be a 40 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms after 2 p.m., with a high near 90. The weather service says rain chances will persist through at least Thursday. South winds 5 to 10 miles per hour. Saturday afternoon should be dry with partly sunny skies and temps reaching a high in the mid-70s.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 82.
Southeast Indiana was one of the hardest hit areas Thursday night and flood warnings remain in effect for Dearborn, Ripley and Franklin counties until 11:30 a.m. Friday.
