Bournemouth Move Is Beginning of End for Jack Wilshere – Renowned Fitness Coach

Paul Merson doesn’t think Arsenal should have let Jack Wilshere go on loan to Bournemouth for a whole season.

“The 24-year-old will bolster Eddie Howe’s options in midfield and bring worldwide experience, having been capped 34 times for England at senior level”.

Wilshere, who is not part of Sam Allardyce’s first England squad, could make his Bournemouth debut after the worldwide break at home to West Bromwich Albion on September 10.

“Jack is a fantastic addition to the club”, Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake said after Wilshere was pictured holding up the club’s red and black striped shirt outside their Dean Court stadium.

The England worldwide has been plagued by injuries in recent seasons and played only three times in the Premier League for Arsenal last season after suffering a fracture just prior to the start of the campaign.

Jack Wilshere hopes his loan move to Bournemouth can help him “develop” as a player after being deemed surplus to requirements at Arsenal.

Wilshere made his Arsenal debut against Blackburn in 2008 and soon afterwards became only the fifth 16-year-old to play in the Champions League.

Calum Chambers also on Tuesday joined Middlesbrough on loan until the end of the season, while earlier on Wednesday Serge Gnabry signed for Werder Bremen on a permanent basis.

“If we didn’t get anyone across the line, I’d still be very, very pleased (with our transfer business)”.

Wilshere was facing a tough assignment to secure a place in Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up amid competition from Francis Coquelin, Santi Cazorla, Mohamed Elnemy and Aaron Ramsey.

If Jack Wilshere was playing every week for Arsenal he would be in the squad, but unfortunately he isn’t.
