On Wednesday, Rodgers took to Twitter to answer critics of the performance, writing that he was unaffected by fan criticism and Bowie’s son’s rumoured objections.
The reviews are in, and nobody seems to agree whether Lady Gaga’s tribute to David Bowie during Monday’s Grammy Awards ceremony was any good or not.
“Overexcited or irrational, typically as a result of infatuation or excessive enthusiasm; mentally confused”, he tweets.

Gaga sang and danced to a medley of Bowie’s 70’s and 80’s songs including “Space Oddity” and “Under Pressure”.
Gaga dyed her hair shock orange on the night to channel Bowie’s alter ego Ziggy Stardust on the red carpet and on stage.

In a podcast conversation with The Hollywood Reporter recorded days before Bowie’s death, Gaga praised the late rocker for his contribution to art, society and her music.
