Box-Office report: Slow start for Tiger-Jacqueline’s A Flying Jatt

The movie is all about Superhero life and comedy. A superhero who could rather excel in anything but become a superhero.

Tiger Shroff has spelled magic with his last few Bollywood outings. The direction of action sequence of the movie is just unbelievable.

The veteran actor, though seems to be least bothered.

Continuing the callowness in Bollywood makers in designing an indie “desi” super hero A FLYING JATT starring the dependable in the making Tiger Shroff is nothing more than a preachy appeasement for comic con nerds.

The effort to demystify superheroes – from deciding on the costume to getting into blunders – is the best part of A Flying Jatt. Will A FLYING JATT pass the “Box-Office” test with “flying colours” or simply “land” with a thud, lets analyze. “The film has got everything that fascinates children, even the action; the kids love the way we’re dancing in the film”. Wonder if A Flying Jatt was set in Tamil Nadu, would it have been a called A Flying Chettiar or A Flying Iyer?

A Flying Jatt won’t come across as compelling; it has its share of lag. Her son, a timid martial arts teacher named Aman (which means “peace”, played by Tiger Shroff) wants her to compromise, but this Bebe (the Punjabi term for mom) is more courageous. If you love dance, stunts and good VFX then this film is for you.

Sure, there will be some who’ll say, “Eh, who cares”. Movie with a good message, which should be pass on to everybody. Tiger Shroff’s muscles clench and twist but face remains as plain as ever. “It’s all for my kiddy fans”, Tiger said. The first half of the film has some fun moments, but the dragging narration in the second half mars the beauty of the movie.

The director of the film Remo Dsouza talking to the Indian media about the story of the film told, “It’s the story of a simple superhero who is young and human”. ONE and a handful of others.

Directed by Remo D’Souza, “A Flying Jatt” also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Amrita Singh in key roles.

Although, the first half is fun to watch, the movie becomes boring in the second half. At the Box-Office, the film has the potential to fly, though, not to great heights.

Remo does not tamper with formula and delivers a film that is one-dimensional. The movie has been given a single star out of five.
