E’Dena, who was 33, was found lying outside her home in New York with multiple stab wounds found on her torso. Her boyfriend is accused of leaving her lifeless with a number of stab wounds to her chest.
Davenport has been charged with second degree murder.
Davenport, who police have said was in a relationship with Hines, was arrested when officers responded to a 911 call reporting the stabbing.
The deadly stabbing befell on the pavement simply 100 ft from Miss Hines’s entrance door within the Washington Heights neighbourhood of New York, police stated.
“I heard the him say one thing like ‘Satan, be gone, Jesus and God,”‘ George Hudacko, a neighbour, advised the station.
Mr Davenport stays at a medical facility in New York, the place he’ll reportedly bear psychological analysis.
Police have revealed that the man who killed Morgan Freeman’s granddaughter, Edena Hines, was attempting to perform an exorcism in a drug-induced psychosis.
On Hines’ website, it was noted that she had studied acting at New York University’s prestigious Graduate Acting Program and that she also taught “under-exposed youths” in Memphis, Tennessee. She wrote in a blog post earlier this year that she felt “unfulfilled” with the direction of her career.

He has previously addressed the death of Hines in a moving statement following the incident, saying: ‘The world will never know her artistry in talent. Her friends and family were fortunate enough to have known what she meant as a person. “May she rest in peace”.
