Boyfriend recorded teen’s horrifying, final moments before killing her, prosecutors say
Search crews found her body partially nude and stuffed in a cabinet under a sink inside an abandoned apartment at 1600 Avenue N in the city of South Houston.

The remains were found by Texas EquuSearch, a group of trained volunteers that assist in missing persons cases nationwide.
A 15-year-old high school student said “I don’t want to die” as her teenage boyfriend raped her and then strangled her to death on camera. One of the boys is identified by Perez’s mother as Karen’s boyfriend.
According to court documents, a schoolmate admitted skipping school around noon Friday with Perez, her boyfriend and another teen to go to the Allen Arms Apartments in southeastern Houston.
Equusearch posted Sunday that Perez disappeared in South Houston on May 27. Authorities say her boyfriend’s father also drove him around to look for Perez, but the suspect told his father to just take him home “because she is not alive”.
Officials learned that Perez’s boyfriend texted her on Friday, asking her skip school with him.
Prosecutors said Wednesday that the teen sexually assaulted and choked Karen Perez – and recorded it on a cellphone – the Houston Chronicle reports. The video was black but the audio was clear.
At that point, prosecutors say the boy told his father, “You won’t find her”.
