‘Boys Don’t Cry’ Released at Pop-up Shops

Friday to make his fans wait, the artist has posted Endless experimental video album of 45 minutes. For the first time since 2012’s Channel Orange blazed through the charts and Grammy awards alike, R&B wonderkid Frank Ocean released a full album. The “visual album” concept, of course, places Endless in the same category as Beyonce’s two such efforts: 2013’s Beyonce and this year’s Lemonade. He also released a Boys Don’t Cry magazine at pop-up shops in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and London Saturday.

The album has been anticipated by fans since late July when news of the impending release was revealed in the New York Times, shortly after Apple Music hosted a livestream on Frank’s website. Blonde is now available via iTunes, with a track list available below. Ocean is understandably using the visual stream as a platform to promote his new tunes since there has been so much outcry over the delay of his follow-up album.

Fans who are excited to listen to Ocean’s new album can visit Genius.com or Apple Music to get their fix of the new track list.

Endless is actually a different project from his new album, previously called Boys Don’t Cry.

After Boys Don’t Cry didn’t come out earlier this month, speculation had it that the album wouldn’t arrive until November. A rep from Apple Music further added fuel to the rumor fire, saying in a statement that we should “keep an eye out this weekend for more from Frank”.

There was lost of famous people who were credited for contributing to the magazine like Kanye West, Tyler, the Creator, James Blake, A$AP Rocky. (A new album is now out, but it’s called Blond). It’s a sticky summer jam with an equally unforgettable visual, which eclipses Pyramids as Ocean’s craziest (and best) yet.
