Brad Paisley Announces Tour of IMG-Partnered Universities
University officials today announced that country music artist Brad Paisley will perform a free concert outside War Memorial Stadium following the Hogs’ matchup against the Rockets on Sept. 12. He will release “Country Nation”, from his 2014 Moonshine in the Trunk album, as his next single early this fall; the song was written by Paisley, Chris DuBois and Kelley Lovelace and is an appropriate namesake for the singer’s college tour, as it name-checks 18 college sports mascots. The comedy band, The Raging Idiots, featuring Bobby Bones and Eddie from iHeartMedia’s national country radio program The Bobby Bones Show, will be the special guest. The tour kicks off SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th in BLACKSBURG, VA at the VIRGINIA TECH campus, where EMI NASHVILLE’s ERIC PASLAY will be the special guest. Additional university dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
