Actress Angelina Jolie has filed for a divorce from actor Brad Pitt after 12 years together including two years of marriage, the end for one of Hollywood’s most glamorous and powerful couples.

The abuse report was anonymous, and it has been confirmed that Los Angeles DCFS has interviewed Pitt and Jolie, and plan to interview the children as well.
“LAPD is not handling any report or allegations into child abuse for Mr. Brad Pitt”, the LAPD told Us in a statement on Thursday. Wife Angelina Jolie and the other children were all present when the incident took place, it is reported.
During her chat with the United Kingdom outlet, the Maleficent star also shared that she has a tighter bond with the Jolie-Pitt daughters: “It also depends on which of the children we’re talking about …”
Sources claim Pitt, Jolie and their children were on board a flight last Wednesday when Pitt “got wasted”, “went wild”, and started screaming and “getting physical” with the children, TMZ reports.
“We have very strict confidentially laws that don’t allow us to confirm or deny the subjects of our investigations”, spokeswoman Amara Suarez told THR.
DCFS spokesman Armand Montiel said he could not comment on whether the department was investigating.
An attorney for Jolie Pitt, Robert Offer, said that her decision to divorce was made “for the health of the family”.
TMZ alleges Pitt tried to drive off in a fuel truck after the plane landed. In the divorce document obtained by ABC News, the estranged couple’s date of separation was listed as September 15.
“He was never physically abusive to her or the kids”.
Handler has had her claws out for Angelina for a while – during an appearance on TV show Watch What Happens Live in March, 2013, she called the Oscar victor a “demon” and added, “As a woman, I know when you see somebody walking across the room that’s a bad girl”. The 41-year-old also picked up some clothing for her children at Macy’s.

In a statement released to People Magazine, Pitt said his focus is also on the “well-being of our kids”, adding that he is saddened by divorce and asking “the press to give [the children] the space they deserve during this challenging time”.
