Brad Pitt investigated for alleged child abuse

On Thursday (local time), the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said it was not investigating Brad Pitt over the allegations, despite TMZ reports.

LOS ANGELES – The FBI says it’s gathering information about an incident involving Brad Pitt and his family aboard a private flight last week.

Now, Pitt is getting his legal representatives at the ready.

A source. on Pitt’s behalf, has been telling various news outlets today, “He takes the matter very seriously and says he did not commit any abuse of his children”, and that “it’s unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light”.

Jolie has asked for physical custody of the couple’s six children, asking the judge to give Pitt visitation rights.

The L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services told ET, “We have very strict confidentiality laws and the laws do not allow us to confirm or deny the subjects of our investigations”.

Jolie, 41, on Monday filed for divorce from Pitt, 52, citing irreconcilable differences and seeking custody of their six children.
