It’s a second marriage for Pitt, who was first Wednesday to Jennifer Aniston, and the third for Jolie Pitt, who previously said “I do” with Billy Bob Thornton and Jonny Lee Miller.
Brad Pitt has spoken out after it was confirmed he and wife Angelina Jolie are to divorce after 12 years together. She sought full physical custody of their six children and Pitt asked for visitation rights.
She said by the end of the shoot, the two realized something romantic was there. Offer said the decision to divorce was made “for the health of the family”.
Pitt and Jolie have been together since 2004 and married in August 2014.
He continued: “I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time”.
Jolie was previously married to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.
In an interview with USA Today after that announcement, Pitt called her his “hero”.

She also cited Pitt as a major source of support through the entire process.
Just past year, Jolie wrote another op-ed for The Times, revealing she had her ovaries and Fallopian tubes removed because of cancer fears. But as for #TeamJen fans, well, if these tweets are any indication, it looks like the fans are enjoying this moment of vindication, even if Aniston never says a peep about her ex-husband’s recent split.
The couple said in a statement: “While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment”.
Cotillard and Pitt’s upcoming World War II film is set in 1942, with Pitt playing an intelligence officer in North Africa who develops a romantic relationship with a female French Resistance fighter (Cotillard). His other films include “Kalifornia”, “Legends of the Fall”, “Se7en”, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”, “Inglourious Basterds”, “Moneyball”, “The Big Short” and the “Ocean’s 11” films.
