TMZ reports that although the FBI is investigating an incident between Brad, 52 and his 15-year-old son Maddox, which occurred on their private jet, the case is likely to be dropped as conflicting accounts make it impossible to prove what happened.
TMZ and CelebrityInsider reports that the child abuse allegations have been referred over to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
News media inquiries into the allegations swirled in the Hollywood film community that Pitt, whose wife Angelina Jolie recently filed for divorce, was under investigation for allegedly abusing one or more of their children. The news outlet reported he got “verbally abusive” and “physical” with one of his children, the nature of which has not been verified.
The FBI was informed about a “child welfare” incident involving “unruly behaviour” by Pitt with his child present, while on an worldwide flight last week, the Los Angeles Times quoted an unnamed law enforcement source as saying.
Pitt and Jolie – who have become known as “Brangelina” have been together for 12 years but only Wednesday two years ago in France. The Jolie-Pitt family had been at Minnesota’s International Falls Airport aboard their private plane. “Brad Pitt”, noted a spokesperson for the department Thursday.
The source claimed that Angelina was falsifying the abuse claims so that she would be able to take full physical custody of the children. “Her focus is on their health and emotional well-being”, the source said.
Jolie cited irreconcilable differences in her divorce filing but didn’t elaborate on what those differences are.
Pitt was said to be “looking drunk” and “yelling” at Angie and the kids. Pitt’s representative did not return Romper’s request for comment regarding the abuse allegations, and there have been no formal charges filed against him at this time. “I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time”.
