Plumb, best known for her role as Jan Brady in “The Brady Bunch,” was just 11 when she purchased the Malibu, California, property in 1969, the Los Angeles Times reported.
Here’s the story of a lovely lady … who just sold her home for $3.9 million.
The 1950s style cottage went on the market earlier this year and Meis Architects – designers of the Staples Center – reportedly already have plans for redesigning it.
Located on the south end of Escondido Beach, the 850-square-foot home now has 3 bedrooms and 1.75 bathrooms.
She paid only $55,000 making almost $4 million in an incredible return investment.
You can’t bring up Jan, or any character from “The Brady Bunch”, in any group conversation without inspiring a round of quotes and do-you-remembers, and the WTOP newsroom is no exception.
The cozy five-room, 600-square-foot cottage off the Pacific Coast Highway comes with a stretch of private shoreline in secluded Escondido Beach.
Plumb, 58, was a well-known child actor at the time she bought the home.
There will be a retractable moon-roof and floor-to-ceiling glass walls in a 3,500 square-foot abode that’s fit for Marcia.

Plumb has continued to act in recent years and was seen most recently in the “Grease Live!”, which aired on Fox in January.
