One of Trump’s signature “Make America great again” hats had been spotted in Brady’s locker earlier this season.

Brady gathered remarks when he openly told the reporters that he thinks “it would be great” if Donald Trump would be elected as president.

“I hope so,” Brady said, via the Boston Globe. “It would be great. He’d put a putting green on the White House lawn, I’m sure of that”.

According to Brady, the hat “was a nice keepsake”.

I’m sure he’ll have some wrinkles for us. “He is really a very good friend of mine”. But NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell fined the Patriots $1m and took away two draft picks, including a first-rounder, and suspended Brady four games. “It was a nice piece of memorabilia [Trump] sent me”.

Trump congratulated Brady on the court victory. “He’s a hell of a lot of fun to play golf with”. Trump later tweeted on the social network Twitter that Brady’s endorsement was “a great honor from somebody that knows how to win”.
