Brady says he’s ‘calmed down’ following Sunday night’s loss
“We’re totally committed to getting our quarterback, getting Peyton healthy, and getting him back and nothing’s changed”, Kubiak said, via ESPN.

The Denver Broncos aren’t ready to name Brock Osweiler their starter for the remainder of the season just yet.
Brock Osweiler said he had not been told anything by the Broncos except what the plan is for this week.
“The biggest thing is you don’t want to panic, I think down 14 points going into the fourth quarter against the Patriots, it would be easy to try to force things and Brock didn’t”, left tackle Ryan Harris said. The Denver Broncos handed the Patriots their first loss of the season, 30-24, in a wild and snowy overtime game. “I’m doing what Coach Kubiak asked me to do, is to try to get healthy. But just running with that nastiness and that strength and just trying to be powerful every time I run the ball, that’s what I’m talking about doing”.
Manning said he’s proud of Osweiler’s play and happy for his teammates.
Another reason the Broncos might look to stick with Osweiler is because of the rejuvenation of the Broncos’ dual-back rushing attack in his two starts. Currently, Manning has career lows in passing yards and touchdowns through his first nine starts of any season.
Since it was a home game and was not undergoing rehab because his foot was immobilized in a cast, Manning participated in all of the meetings leading up to the Patriots game. Cole sites anonymous sources within the Broncos organization but when BSN Denver reached out to our sources, we received a much different message. “I was like, ‘Whoa!’ You know, he’s got a huge frame and they’re going to attack it, but he’s a tough kid, he’s going to get up and he’s going to do what’s best for the team”.
“I think Rob’s trying to play within the rules 100 percent of the time”. Everybody says, ‘Is it better, is it better?’ The answer is I don’t know because I’m not putting any pressure on it. It’s sort of immobilized. “We have to play within the rules”.
“It’s a matter of discipline whether you take it off or not”, Manning said. “We’ll do everything we can to try to clean that up and help Rob – and anybody else for that matter because we’ve been called for a few other ones along the way too – to try to avoid those things coming up again”.
“It’s so far ahead of what I’m thinking about”.
