Brady Walks Back Support of Trump
Earlier this month, Brady said it would be “great” if the abrasive GOP frontrunner became president, after reporters noticed a “Make America Great Again” hat displayed in the New England Patriots quarterback’s locker. Trump repeatedly backed Brady in his fight with the National Football League in the Deflategate matter.

“It’s just a different world than when I started”, Brady said.
But Tom Brady has insisted he hasn’t endorsed his friend and the Republican front-runner, saying that his “off-hand comments” were taken out of context. It’s just people doing their job.
Speaking to a radio station on Monday, Brady said his previous remarks were off-handed and not meant to be construed as an endorsement, expressing displeasure that they got blown out of proportion. “I do not even know what the problems are”. I haven’t paid attention to politics in a long time so… “Because I think that’s something that is a reflection of the commitment that you make”. Its way off my radar..
Brady added that he known Trump for a long time and he has ‘been a fun guy that I’ve had a lot of time around’.
Brady and Trump have been supporters of one another to one extent or another for quite a few time.
He said that his voting habits are his personal business.
He also said that as a public figure, “it’s best to say as little as possible”, sometimes. “I think that’s just the way it is and the way our culture is right now”. “Everything is really out there”.
“Come on, you’re a professional athlete, I shouldn’t be beating you”, is the type of common taunt from the billionaire candidate, according to Brady. Trump nodded and motioned to the phone and made sure I had my recorder running.

After the initial headlines emerged indicating that Brady was endorsing Trump, The Donald himself embraced the support, tweeting that it was “A great honor from somebody that knows how to win!”
