Brandon Boykin Thinks Chip Kelly Is ‘Uncomfortable Around Grown Men Of Our

It’s no secret Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly is some sort of offensive mastermind.

This time, it was cornerback Brandon Boykin, who was traded Saturday to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a conditional fifth-round pick in the 2016 draft. First, he is the only quarterback on the roster that is able to unlock numerous plays in Kelly’s playbook from Oregon that involved a quarterback with mobility.

Boykin said his former coach is “uncomfortable around grown men of our culture”. “He likes total control of everything, and he don’t like to be uncomfortable”.

“I think it’s more to our confidence in [CB] Byron Maxwell and [CB Nolan] Carroll and [DB Eric] Rowe and DB [JaCorey] Shepherd and [CB E.J.] Biggers and [DB Jaylen] Watkins and [CB Denzel] Rice and [DB Randall] Evans”, Kelly said. “They got me because they know that I can make plays and they feel like I can help, so that’s exactly what I’m going to do”. “Didn’t say anything”. He wasn’t wearing the bulky brace that he had during the OTAs, saying that he felt good enough to play with only a sleeve over his knee. “You’re capable of making plays just like the other 10 guys”. But there’s a back story to Mr. Bradford and if you keep reading you’ll have the 411 on my top QB sleeper pick. It’s not even worth talking about.

Kelly said he was surprised by Boykin’s comments.

“You’ll have to ask Coach Tomlin and let me know”, Blake told Neal Coolong of DKonPittsburghSports.com.

At this time Chip Kelly was the talk of the NFL, he had one solid year in the NFL and went to the playoffs. You would walk down the hallway, he wouldn’t say anything to you.

Eagles veteran safety Malcolm Jenkins is a warrior on the field and a wearer of fine suits and bow ties off it. He’s also exhausted of hearing allegations or veiled inferences of racism.

“It’s not that he doesn’t understand the culture, it’s that no one man is bigger than the team”, Jenkins said. And no player is bigger than the team. And that’s something that I don’t think anybody has a problem buying into.

“We were kind of holding our breath”, Kelly admitted. There are several candidates to replace Boykin.

Kelly has Bradford taking the first-team reps during training camp with Mark Sanchez playing backup.

“That’s why I see”, Eagles linebacker Brandon Graham said. I don’t think the Eagles cutting Pro Bowl guard Evan Mathis, who is white, out of the blue this offseason was racially charged. He had a hamstring. Kelly said he is concerned only about the players on his team. Kelly shot that down right away. After winning the division last year, the Steelers have greater aspirations, and, therefore, they must have a better defense to meet those goals. “I’m good to go. Mike’s not going anywhere”.
