Atlanta’s Jeff Francoeur had four hits, all singles, and drove in a run. Marcell Ozuna continued his red hot play by doubling to center, which scored Ichiro, and that gave the Marlins a 1-0 lead.

The Marlins are 7-2 in their last nine series openers, 5-0 in Conley’s last five starts following a team loss in their previous game, but 1-4 in their last five against the NL East while the Braves are 7-15 in their last 22 against the NL East, 14-37 in their last 51 home games, and 1-4 in their last five Friday games.
