Judge Keyla Blank wrote in her filing that there were questions about a gap between when the swimmers said they left France House and arrived at the athletes’ village.

The police official reportedly said the security officer had a pistol, but that he never took it out or aimed it at the swimmers. When they damaged the bathroom door, a security guard pulled out his weapon and made them stay until police arrived, prompting a confrontation, G1 reported.

Using a customer to translate, he asked the swimmers to pay for the broken door, the official added. We’re told he did take money from the swimmers, but only to cover the expenses, and then let them go.

Police showed up at the Olympic village in the morning to confiscate the passports of Lochte and Jimmy Feigen but found neither man there.

NBC reported Wednesday night that Lochte backed off some of his earlier claims, saying the taxi wasn’t pulled over by men with a badge but rather the athletes were robbed after stopping at a gas station. The Olympian originally said the gun was pointed against his forehead, but Lauer said Lochte told him the gun was pointed in his general direction and was cocked.

USOC could not confirm the whereabouts of either athlete due to security protocols, but Lochte’s father and lawyer confirmed to global media the swimmer was back in the United States. He didn’t provide details.

Conger and Bentz tried to leave Wednesday night, but were detained at the airport.

This story has been corrected to reflect that the lawyer for two of the swimmers is Sergio Riera, not Sergio Viegas. All of the swimmers involved, including Lochte, are said to be complying with authorities.

On Thursday, a U.S.

Police say they’re still looking for evidence to support the swimmers’ accounts.

Two of the athletes were taken off a plane so they could be questioned.

Lochte’s attorney, told USA TODAY Sports that Lochte was already back in the United States as of Tuesday afternoon.

The USOC confirmed today that Jimmy Feigen is “communicating with local authorities and intends to make further statements regarding the incident”.

Authorities want to know what happened when Bentz and Conger were with Ryan Lochte and another teammate, James Feigen, Sunday morning.

The claim follows doubt cast over the swimmers’ story that they were mugged at gunpoint on a night out, which is being investigated after the swimmers gave conflicting versions of events. The swimmers had their wallets taken, but they kept their cell phones and jewelry The International Olympic Committee initially refuted the report but later backed off that stance.

“We got pulled over, in the taxi, and these guys came out with a badge – a police badge – no lights, no nothing”, Lochte recalled.
