With both sides having top-notch scorers, the game is expected to be a fast-paced affair with lots of goals.

The Brazilian team led by football superstar Neymar Jr., conceded no goals in their entire Olympic campaign, with only two draws in their impressive record. In the semifinal match against Honduras, Brazil thrashed the competition and ended the game with a 6-0 scoreline.

Brazil’s team includes Marquinhos from PSG, Gabriel Jesus, who signed for Manchester City last month for 27 million pounds and Gabriel Barbosa, who goes by the nickname Gabigol.

Now 24, Neymar is one of three overage players each country is allowed for the under-23 tournament.

Maybe Neymar and his teammates can make the Olympics a success for Brazil after all.

‘He has talent. External factors influence players with potential, and we want to understand how he developed in order to find more players like him.

Olympic gold remains the only world football to elude Brazil, with the current crop of young players under extreme pressure to provide gold at their home Games.

The host country of these Olympic Games will have an opportunity to change that Saturday. But the team picked up the pace and will face Germany, which beat Nigeria 2-0 in the other semifinal match.

Brazil vs. Germany in the Olympic final isn’t just about World Cup revenge.

As Brazil routed Honduras in the semifinals, the crowd at the Maracana chanted that Germany’s “turn is coming up”.

Dream Team VI will battle for bronze against Honduras at the Men’s Olympic Football Tournament Rio 2016 following their 0-2 loss to Germany at the Arena Corinthians in Sao Paulo.

Neymar is the word which we can hear from every Brazil Soccer Fan.

Honduras knocked the ball back from the kick-off, but Neymar caught Johnny Palacios in possession on the edge of the box and bravely challenged the keeper to bundle the ball into the net. Struggling after several steps, he collapsed again and was stretchered off the field and attended to before being able to return.

After the game, Brazil coach Rogerio Micale, was ecstatic about his team’s dominant performance, particularly from the team captain.

Honduras came into the game with high hopes after surviving a group that included Argentina and Portugal. Janine Beckie took only 20 seconds to score for Canada against Australia in the women’s tournament in Rio.

From there the Brazilian juggernaut began with Jesus’ two straight goals at the 26th and 35th minutes to give the hosts a 3-0 lead at the interval.

“Neymar is the best or second best payer in world football, so controlling him is not easy”, said Pinto, whose side still have the chance to land Honduras’ first ever medal in Friday’s bronze medal match. It was Peterson’s sixth goal of the tournament.

Yet, Micale lauded the continuity of the German system which has brought through another stellar group of young players just as World Cup winning heroes like Bastian Schweinsteiger and Lukas Podolski have retired from worldwide football. They will play Serbia, who had a narrow 86-83 win over Croatia.

Defender Marquinhos scored the fourth goal off a corner in the 51st, shooting from close range after the defense failed to clear the cross into the area, and Luan added another in the 79th after a ideal cross by Felipe Anderson.
