The Brazil synchronized diving team of Giovanna Pedroso and Ingrid Oliveira have made a decision to part ways, and the 2016 Olympics may be to blame.

While there is plenty of talk about athletes abstaining from any bedroom frolics before a big competition, at the start of the Olympics there were reports that 450,000 condoms were going to be available to the athletes.

Pedro Goncalves has gotten caught up in the controversy.

The pair finished last in the women’s 10m synchronised diving event last week after the massive rift.

Pedroso reportedly wasn’t allowed back in her room all night as Oliveira got busy with canoeist Pedro Goncalves.

But Pedroso let loose: “I have been waiting for four years to be present at the Olympics and for her it was better to have fun and therefore threw me out of the room”, she told the Sun.

‘It’s good because I’m not going to need to depend on anyone.

Oliveira saied: ‘We had a fight and we are not talking.

A BRAZILIAN synchronised diving team has split up amidst a sex scandal.

Oliveira commented on the pair’s split as well: “People fight about whatever and don’t talk but when it comes to competition time they come together because it’s a unique moment. From today I will not jump synchronised with her”.
