“Last August we rejected Manchester United’s € 50 million offer for Felipe Anderson”.

The club are rumoured to be looking into snatching Felipe Anderson away from Lazio this month for a sky high fee, as you would expect from any transfer this month.
And Tare confirmed the rumours of Manchester United’s interest in the player, revealing that they indeed rejected a €50m offer from the 20-time English champions last summer.
“Will I be a Lazio player in February?” Tare had said, “Players leaving?”
The 22-year-old is the subject of intense rumors regarding a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United reported to be interested in the Brazilian. “I don’t know what happens”, Anderson said, as quoted by Goal.com. “We just couldn’t play our usual game”.
Manager Louis van Gaal has been vocal about his desire to add more pace and quality into his side’s attack, which has led to reports to believe that a move for Anderson is imminent.
“So far we haven’t received anything from Manchester United”, Tare told Mediaset Premium.
“The only reason he was benched against Fiorentina is because he is not in his best form”.
“He knows he needs to step up and we have talked a lot to him during this week”.

And, though Anderson’s staying tight-lipped over his future, the Brazilian international’s hinted he could leave Lazio this month after he was dropped for their clash with Fiorentina.
