Bread recalled after fragments of glass found inside
Bread maker bimbo bakeries has issued a regional recall for certain bread products because they may contain glass fragments.

Bimbo says the glass came from a broken lightbulb at one of its bakeries.
All recalled products are being removed from store shelves. No injuries were reported.
The bread is sold under the names Sara Lee, Kroger, Bimbo, Nature’s Harvest, Great Value and L’Oven Fresh. Most of the brands are being recalled in fewer than those 11 states.
In Ohio, the recall affects two varieties of 100 percent whole-wheat breads: a Bimbo brand 16 oz. loaf dated September 1 and a Nature’s Harvest Stoneground 20 oz. loaf also labeled “best by” September 1.
Recalled products can be found in the infographic attached to this story. “No other products are affected”, Bimbo Bakeries added.
The company is offering a full refund to customers who have purchased one of the recalled products.

It has 60 bakeries and over 22,000 associates in the US. The company fact sheet said it is the “only commercial bakery manufacturer to serve all 50 states”.
