BREAKING NEWS! Pakistan blast at court leaves several dead in Mardan

President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussian, Prime Minister Mian Nwaz Sharif, chief of ANP Asfand Yar Wali, Governor KPK Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and Chief Minister KPK Pervaiz Khatak condemned the brutal attack calling it an action to harass society by insane people.

The injured have been shifted to nearby hospitals. This is the second attack in space of hours in the region.

Militants have targeted attorneys including a bomb attack in Quetta last month that killed 18 attorneys, before.

Earlier on Friday, terrorists also attacked a Christian colony in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial capital of Peshawar, 60km to the west of Mardan.

It may be mentioned that the security forces on Friday morning killed four armed terrorists after a fierce gun battle in Christian Colony in Warsak, some 35 kilometer off Peshawar.

Soldiers backed by army helicopters rushed to spot where they exchanged gunfire with terrorists. General Asim Bajwa said in a message on social network Twitter.

Today, the military’s information wing said one security guard in the Christian residential area, near the northwestern city of Peshawar, was killed at the beginning of the dawn attack.

Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched further investigation. All 4 suicide bombers killed.

The Jamaatul Ahrar (JA) claimed responsibility for the attack, Dawn reports. At least 10 people including two policemen and two lawyers were killed in the blast.
