Breaking! Yemen cross-border shelling kills 3 Saudi children

Yemen’s dominant Shiite Houthi group and its allies said Sunday they would deal with a plan put forth by the United States to resume peace talks with a goal of forming a national unity government, only once the Saudi-led coalition “aggression” halted and “economic siege” lifted.
In Yemen, the SABA agency, which is under control of the Houthis, reported that two houses located in the district of Baqam in the city of Saada were destroyed by airstrikes overnight.
Kerry said Yemen’s dominant Houthi group must cease its shelling across the border with Saudi Arabia, cede its weapons and enter into a unity government with its domestic foes. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly about the meetings. It was not clear when the surgery was performed.
On Thursday, Kerry announced almost $189 million in additional humanitarian aid for Yemen, bringing the total amount of U.S. assistance to more than $327 million since October 2015.
The United States has backed the coalition with multibillion-dollar arms sales and provided logistical and intelligence support.
He also elaborated that United Nations envoy to Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed will immediately start a dialogue with all parties involved to outline new peace talks.
Mr Kerry arrived in Jeddah on Wednesday night and had a three-hour dinner with Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman that lasted until almost 1am, according to USA officials.
This story has been correct to show that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef showed U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry the photographs, not Saudi King Salman.
In an attempt to return the exiled president to power, a coalition led by Arab countries began an air campaign in March of 2015.
Mr Kerry is scheduled to travel to Geneva next, where he will meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
The Houthi fighters took state matters into their own hands in the wake of Hadi’s resignation and escape, which threw Yemen into a state of uncertainty and threatened a total security breakdown in the country, where an al-Qaeda affiliate is present.
Russian Federation has primarily targeted rebels, some backed by Saudi Arabia, who are fighting to overthrow president Bashar Al Assad, making Riyadh’s support for the plan crucial. This includes the preparation of derivative works of, or the incorporation of such content into other works.

Whether the Houthis will agree to these terms, however, remains to be seen.
