Now that Brendan Dassey’s conviction has been overturned, the “Making A Murderer” subject is heading to Wrestlemania. He said the circumstances “rendered Dassey’s confession involuntary under the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments”.

Dassey and his uncle Steven Avery were convicted in 2007 of torturing and murdering photographer Teresa Halbach.
Brendan’s chances of seeing the event have been given a big boost after porn website XHamster have stated that they’re happy to fund his trip to Florida.
It’s hard to imagine that Dassey would turn down this opportunity, as it’s possibly a weird-but-heartwarming ending to a sad story.
Earlier this month, Dassey’s conviction was overturned by a judge who determined that investigators coerced his confession. And its this argument which, a decade later, won Dassey an overturned conviction and his freedom, given the state doesn’t plan on challenging the decision.
“We are pleased that we can make this young man’s dream of going to WrestleMania come true”, xHamster spokesperson Alex Hawkins told Complex in a statement Monday.
A federal magistrate on August 12th ordered Dassey to be freed within 90 days unless prosecutors decide to re-try him.
The Netflix series was consumed by viewers previous year and binge watchers were left heartbroken as they watched Dassey – who hold a below average IQ of around 70 – manipulated into confessing.
Although being freed from prison is a possibility for Dassey, it doesn’t mean it will happen-at least in 90 days.

xHamster isn’t alone in their efforts to get Dassey to Orlando. “We are waiting on a response from Brendan and we know he will be thrilled that he is going to Wrestlemania when he gets out”, he continued.
