As for the Hall of Fame Game between the Packers and Colts, of course there is a betting line on the game and the action should be pretty heavy all things considered, not the least of which is the aforementioned six months drought since Denver’s Super Bowl win.

Last year, the five-time Pro Bowler played in only two of the four preseason contests, and hasn’t played in an National Football League preseason finale since 2012. While the Packers are staying in Cleveland in advance of the game, Rodgers and a contingent of Packers’ coaches and front-office executives will be in attendance for Saturday night’s ceremony, which also includes the induction of former Packers assistant coach Kevin Greene (who will be presented by defensive coordinator Dom Capers). So, as a player, this is one of the highest honors to get that jacket on. I don’t know if anybody’s real, real excited about a fifth preseason game – except for the people making the money on that.
