Bridgeport Bluefish offer Tim Tebow a chance to restart his career
That’s obviously not enough for a Major League Baseball team to offer a contract, but it’s more than enough for a team to send a scout.

“The Bluefish welcome Tim with open arms”, Bluefish General Manager Jamie Toole said in a news release.
During a session against a former Major League Baseball pitchers David Aardsma and Chad Smith, Tebow went 8-19 with two doubles and three strikeouts.
Tim Tebow is known for three things: football, Bible-thumping and being strangely pretty.
Tebow’s agent, Brodie Van Wagenen, told the Times that Tebow talked with “five or six” teams after the workout.
After a lackluster season that included a fluke victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the post season, the team traded him to the New York Jets where the name “Tebow” eventually became synonymous with “media circus”. One American League scout told USA Today the exercise was a “complete waste of time” although a National League scout told the newspaper Tebow was “better than I expected”. I went and watched him play in spring baseball. “I just want to be someone to pursue what I believe in, what I’m passionate about”.
Even so, some teams plan to have “multiple scouts” at the tryout, according to MLB Network.
Tebow’s athleticism will no doubt serve him well in a possible baseball career, although some commentators have pointed out that he hasn’t played organized baseball in 11 years. “I think it’s low risk, high reward for Zulia”.
“I am beyond impressed with Tim’s athleticism and swing, and it goes without saying that he has shown a high level of discipline and strong work ethic”, Moeller said in a statement.
Of course, somebody will probably sign Tebow to a minor league deal just for publicity.

“I think we will see”, another player on the Eagles offense, Trey Burton said. Tebow has gone on record by saying that he would be interested in playing winter ball as he figures out his future.
