Renee reprised her role this week for a spot of filming in Greenwich Park, where she was joined by Sally Phillips; who plays her character’s best friend Shazza. Renee, 46, was pictured on set & in character this current week as she filmed at the Sainsbury’s grocery store in Woolwich, London.

The rest of the film’s plot is now under wraps, but it’s already been confirmed it will not be based on author Helen Fielding’s third novel.

Colin Firth will also return as Mark Darcy, who Jones became engaged to at the end of the second film, Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason.

Working Title is hoping that a new generation of viewers will be just as smitten with Jones: the first two films in the franchise each grossed more than $250 million worldwide, from budgets that topped out at a mere $40 million.
