Rated R by the MPAA (like the two previous films), Bridget Jones’s Baby releases September 16 in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom and Ireland, and the same week in a number of territories including Australia, Hong Kong, Netherlands, Russia, the Philippines, and Singapore. “And that Patrick Dempsey’s no schlub, either”.

Her co-star Colin Firth, who plays smouldering but uptight human rights lawyer Mark Darcy, was even more enthusiastic – although another movie would see him dicing with death. For once, Bridget has everything completely under control. In this world, the wedding to the dreamy but uptight Mark never happened, she no longer smokes, nor is obsessed with counting calories, and she has a responsible job in television, where she is a news producer.

She also welcomed Patrick Dempsey, who plays Jack Qwant, with open arms. Universal Pictures will distribute Bridget Jones’s Baby in North America and select global territories.

“If there’s anyone I’d like to be it’s Bridget – a wanton sex goddess with a very bad man between her thighs”.

Oscar victor Zellweger is an American who moved to London to prepare for her role in the movie.

However, her life is about to be turned upside down once again, as she discovers she’s pregnant.

“I visited the midwife, and she was explaining the different stages of pregnancy”.
