Brie Larson reads ‘Captain Marvel’ comic to prep for film role

Larson an incredible actress, as evidenced by her Academy Award-winning performance in Room, and judging by her research, she’s already slaying as Captain Marvel, Marvel’s first female lead. She will be the first female Marvel superhero to get her own movie.

In a recent post on Twitter, Larson can be seen wearing Captain Marvel costume while she reads Captain Marvel comic book.

Currently, Larson is the only name on the cast list for the Captain Marvel film, which is based on the comic book Gene Colan and Roy Thomas. Over the weekend, Larson shared a fantastic photo of her researching for the role. During this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, after moths of rumors and speculation, Brie Larson was finally confirmed as the Kree-powered character. Carol Danvers has a long history that stretches back to 1968. She will have a lot of reading material, so let’s take it step by step.

She has already completed work on Basmati Blues, Free Fire, and The Glass Castle – if you are a Larson fan, you are going to be seeing plenty of her in the coming months. Danvers is just a supporting character here, though.

“Essential Ms. Marvel Vol. 1” – This is an important one because it’s the very beginning of Carol’s superhero career.

Since then, she has been regularly tweeting photos of fan art of herself as the superheroine on her social media accounts. The altercation affects both characters for the next several years.

Getting Larson to play Carol Danvers was the biggest step in getting the movie ready. She helps hunt down the heroes who refuse to follow government regulations. Originally called Ms Marvel, she has also been known as Warbird and Binary.
