Brie Larson’s casting as Captain Marvel was confirmed over Comic-Con weekend, and now the actress is going to the source material itself to do some big-time research on the character. Larson is decked out in a Captain Marvel hoodie while perusing “Captain Marvel Vol. 1: Higher, Further, Faster, More” by Kelly Sue DeConnick and David Lopez.

And she’s shared some fan-made pictures.
Brie Larson posted this image to Twitter with the caption, “Call Me Captain Marvel” after the announcement at San Diego Comic Con 2016 that she would be playing the role of Catain Marvel on July 23, 2016. Kudos to her for already doing her homework.

Details about the Captain Marvel movie are still scarce, but we do know it’ll debut in March 2019. Although, we are very likely to see a Captain Marvel cameo in “Black Panther” or “Avengers: Infinity War”.
